All the important points related to Senior Demonstrator are as follows:

1. Number of Posts and Reservations:

   • There are a total of 93 Senior Demonstrator posts.
   • The posts are categorized by class as follows:
     • General (Gen): 41 posts
     • Scheduled Caste (SC): 5 posts
     • Scheduled Tribe (ST): No posts
     • Other Backward Class (OBC): 22 posts
     • Most Backward Class (MBC): 1 post
     • Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 1 post
   • Horizontal Reservations:
     • Ex-Servicemen: 4 posts
     • Persons with Disabilities (One Leg Disabled): 10 posts
     • Some posts are also reserved for women and widows/divorced women.
   • The benefit of reserved posts will only be given to original residents of Rajasthan state. Applicants from other states will have to apply under the General category.

2. Subjects:

   • Senior Demonstrator posts are available in various subjects:
     • Anatomy
     • Biochemistry
     • Bio-Physics
     • Community Medicine
     • Dentistry
     • Forensic Medicine
     • Microbiology
     • Pathology
     • Pharmacology
     • Physiology

3. Educational Qualifications:

   • The required educational qualifications for Senior Demonstrator posts vary according to the subject.
     • For medical subjects: MBBS degree is required.
     • For non-medical individuals: M.Sc. degree in the relevant subject is required.
       • For example, M.Sc. (Medical Anatomy) for Anatomy, M.Sc. (Medical Biochemistry) for Biochemistry, etc.
     • For Dentistry: B.D.S. degree is required, preferably with M.B.B.S.
   • Registration under the State/Central Medical Registration Act is not required for non-medical individuals applying for Senior Demonstrator posts.

4. Ratio of Medical and Non-Medical Individuals:

   • In the posts of Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, and Microbiology, the ratio of medical and non-medical individuals is 70:30.
     • In these subjects, a minimum of 70% medical individuals will be selected first, and then the remaining posts can be filled with medical/non-medical individuals based on merit.
   • In the posts of Biochemistry, the ratio of medical and non-medical individuals is 50:50.
     • In these posts, a minimum of 50% medical individuals will be selected first, and then the remaining posts can be filled with medical/non-medical individuals based on merit.

5. Age Limit:

   • The maximum age limit for Senior Demonstrator posts is 37 years, which will be calculated as of January 1, 2021.
   • However, there is a provision for age relaxation for candidates of different categories:
     • Men from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, and Most Backward Class of Rajasthan state will get a relaxation of 5 years.
     • Women from the General category and women from the Economically Weaker Section of Rajasthan state will get a relaxation of 5 years.
     • Women from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, and Most Backward Class of Rajasthan state will get a relaxation of 10 years.
     • There is no maximum age limit for widows and divorced women.
   • There is also a provision for age relaxation for some other specific categories:
     • Individuals temporarily appointed under the State Government, if they were within the age limit at the time of initial appointment, will be considered within the age limit.
     • In the case of cadet instructors, the upper age limit will be relaxed by the period equal to the service rendered by them in the National Cadet Corps, if the resulting age does not exceed the prescribed maximum age limit by more than three years.
     • For individuals serving in a solid capacity in the matters of Rajasthan state, the maximum age limit will be 40 years.
     • For individuals serving in a solid capacity in the matters of Panchayat Samitis and Zilla Parishads, the maximum age limit will be 40 years.
     • Emergency Commissioned Officers and Short Service Commissioned Officers will be considered within the age limit after being released from the army if they were within the age limit when they accepted the commission in the army.
     • The state government may, in consultation with the commission, grant a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit in exceptional cases.
     • Ex-servicemen will get a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit, but if the permissible age after relaxation exceeds 50 years, then the upper age limit of 50 years will apply.
   • The provisions for age relaxation are non-cumulative, i.e., candidates will get the benefit of any one provision, not by adding more than one provision.
   • If a candidate from a reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS) takes advantage of any other concession (such as age limit, marks, physical fitness) in addition to the fee, then he/she will not be considered for unreserved vacancies.

6. Pay Scale:

   • The pay matrix level for the post of Senior Demonstrator is L-14.
   • As per the rules of the State Government, a fixed monthly salary (fixed pay) will be payable during the probation period.

7. Application Process:

   • Applications can only be submitted online.
   • To apply online, candidates have to visit the commission's website https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
   • Applications can be submitted from January 22, 2020, to February 10, 2020, until 12:00 PM.
   • A separate online application has to be submitted for each post.
   • To apply online, candidates have to click on the "Apply Online" link available on the commission's online portal or log in through the SSO portal and select the recruitment portal.
   • Candidates can also apply online for the exam by doing Aadhaar-based One Time Registration (OTR) on the recruitment portal.
   • After filling out the application form, candidates have to pay the examination fee and generate an Application ID.
   • Do not use any other portal to pay the examination fee.
   • No fee refund will be made in the examination fee payment facility.
   • Ensure that the examination fee is paid before the last date of application.
   • The application will be considered submitted only after the application ID is received.
   • For any problem while applying online, the helpdesk number or email can be contacted.
   • Candidates should apply online in the same category under which they are eligible to apply.
   • Applicants from the creamy layer category of Other Backward Class/Most Backward Class of Rajasthan and applicants from states other than Rajasthan state come under the General category.
   • Such applicants have to apply under the General category by paying the examination fee prescribed for General category candidates.
   • Candidates are required to take a printout of the hard copy of the application form and the examination fee receipt after filling the online application form.
   • No online or offline application form will be accepted by the commission under any circumstances other than filling the online application form.

8. Modification in Application Form:

   • After submitting the online application, the commission will send the candidate's name, date of birth, subject, and class information via SMS.
   • In case of any discrepancy in the information received from SMS, the candidate can make modifications in the online application:
     • Online modifications can be made during the application period and within 10 days after the last date of the application form by paying a prescribed fee of Rs 300.
     • After this, no modification will be accepted.
     • No modification will be made in the name of the applicant under online modification.
     • Widow/divorced/disabled category candidates who want to add their category can change the category until the date of the final result announcement of the written exam/screening exam or interview.
     • After the first phase of the examination, an additional opportunity will be given to the applicant to modify the online application form, under which the candidate will be able to make all kinds of modifications online except for the name, examination center, photograph, signature, and subject/post. A fee of Rs 300 is fixed for all modifications.
     • No modification will be accepted by the commission in any other way.

9. Examination Fee:

   • For General category, Economically Weaker Section, and creamy layer category of Other Backward Class/Most Backward Class applicants of Rajasthan: Rs 350.
   • For non-creamy layer category of Other Backward Class/Most Backward Class applicants of Rajasthan: Rs 250.
   • For all persons with disabilities, Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe of Rajasthan, and those whose family income is less than 2.50 lakh: Rs 150.
   • The examination fee will also be Rs 150 for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe of TSP area and Sahariya tribe of Kishanganj and Shahbad tehsil (Rajasthan) of Baran district.
   • Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Other Backward Class/Most Backward Class/Economically Weaker Section candidates from other states apart from Rajasthan state will be considered as General category candidates.
   • Such applicants will have to pay the examination fee prescribed for General category candidates.
   • If any examination is conducted for a particular examination (such as State Eligibility Test) according to the rules of the central government or central level institution, then the examination fee and reservation process for it may be different.
   • For all categories of applicants whose family income is less than Rs 2.50 lakh, the examination fee will be the same as for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates. This benefit will be payable only to the applicants of Rajasthan state.

10. Selection Process:

    • Candidates will be selected based on screening exam, academic weightage, and interview.
      • The marks obtained in the screening exam will have a weightage of 40%.
      • The academic weightage will be 40 marks.
      • The interview will be for 20 marks.
    • The screening exam will be of objective type through online or offline mode.
    • The detailed syllabus of the screening exam will be released soon on the commission's website.

11. Other Important Points:

    • Candidates should enter the same mobile number and email ID in the online application form on which they want future information related to the exam/interview etc. through SMS and email.
    • The candidate himself will be responsible for not receiving the information if the mobile number and email ID entered in the online application are changed/closed/have a network problem.
    • Applicants should fill out their online application form carefully.
    • Candidates should submit their online application without waiting for the last date of application.
    • The candidate himself will be responsible for any kind of mistake while filling/getting the online application filled.
    • If a candidate applies in a category different from his/her category, then it will be considered as a waiver of rights and after the prescribed period of modification in the application form, no facility will be given to improve his/her category.
    • The application form of the candidate can be canceled by the commission at any level if he/she applies in the wrong category.
    • Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Other Backward Class/Most Backward Class/Economically Weaker Section/Outstanding Sportsperson/Ex-Servicemen/TSP/Widow/Divorced/Disabled/State Employee/Non-Gazetted Employee/Ministerial Employee/Departmental Employee/Other category candidates should clearly mention their category while submitting the online application form.
    • The eligibility of the candidates will be checked only on the basis of the information filled in the online application form.
    • If the applicant is found ineligible on the basis of the information filled by him/her, then his/her online application form will be rejected.
    • Those candidates whose online application forms are received by the commission office with complete information by the last date will be given provisional admission to the examination.
    • Issuance of admit card for the examination does not mean that the candidature has been accepted by the commission.
    • The eligibility of the candidates will be checked separately by the commission/department.
    • In case of provisional selection, the candidate will have to submit a detailed application form in two copies along with self-attested photocopies of all necessary documents and a copy of the admit card issued for the examination to the commission office.
    • If the ineligibility of the candidate is found due to non-compliance with age, educational qualification, and other conditions while checking the eligibility of the candidate by the commission, then his/her candidature can be canceled at any level.
    • Even if a woman who has applied in the widow/divorced category has remarried after the last date of receipt of the online application form, she will be given the benefit of the widow/divorced category.
    • Similarly, an applicant who has become disabled/widow/divorced after the last date of receipt of the online application form/before the release of the original result of each stage of the examination will have to get his/her category changed to take the benefit of the disabled/widow/divorced category.
    • If the divorce case of a divorced/divorced applicant is pending in the court and the degree has not been passed, then the benefit of the divorced/divorced category will not be payable.
    • A woman of the widow/divorced category will have to submit an affidavit that she has not remarried until the last date of the online application.
    • Candidates should apply for the same post when they fulfill the age limit and desired educational qualification prescribed in the advertisement.
    • No qualification and experience other than the educational qualification and experience mentioned in the advertisement will be accepted by the commission.
    • The candidate will be considered eligible only if he/she has the educational/training qualification and experience certificates as mentioned in the advertisement.
    • It is necessary to follow the instructions given in the OMR sheet and question paper during the examination.
    • In case of an error in the question paper or more than one answer being wrong/correct or an error in the answer key, the final answer key prepared by the subject experts of the commission will be valid.
    • Action will be taken as per the rules prescribed by the commission for any kind of misconduct during the examination.
    • If a candidate has been banned by the commission for using unfair means, he/she will not be allowed to appear in the examinations conducted by the commission.
    • The benefits payable to state employees are only available to the employees of Rajasthan state.

12. Verification of Documents:

    • The benefit of a particular category will be given to the candidate only when his/her eligibility has been checked from the original documents after being declared successful in the examination and the documents are found to be correct.
    • It should be ensured that the following documents are submitted for verification of eligibility:
      • The caste certificate should be issued on the prescribed format by the competent authority.
      • The entries of residence and creamy layer/non-creamy layer should be filled correctly in the certificate of Other Backward Class/Most Backward Class.
      • The caste certificates of Other Backward Class/Most Backward Class must be latest issued as per rules.
      • The latest certificate of Other Backward Class/Most Backward Class, which is issued by the competent officer on the basis of the father's income as per the rules, will have to be submitted.
      • A married woman applicant of Other Backward Class/Most Backward Class is required to submit a caste certificate issued on the basis of her father's income. A caste certificate issued on the basis of the husband's income will not be valid.
      • The benefit of reservation is not payable to the creamy layer candidates of Other Backward Class/Most Backward Class of Rajasthan state.
      • The Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/TSP certificate should be issued before the last date of receipt of the online application form.
      • A married woman applicant of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe will also have to submit a caste certificate issued in the name of her father.
      • Economically Weaker Section candidates will have to submit an income and property certificate issued in the prescribed format by the competent authority.
      • Educational/training qualification/experience must be acquired by the last date of application/date of examination/date of interview.
      • Certificates of category/class/caste/TSP category, age, outstanding sportsperson, disability, state employee, non-gazetted employee, ministerial employee, departmental employee, and others must be available by the last date of online application/date of modification.
      • A candidate applying in the widow category must have the death certificate of the husband and the certificate linked in the name of the husband.
      • A candidate applying in the divorced/divorced category must have a divorce degree passed by the court.
      • In relation to ex-servicemen, a person who has retired or is retiring within one year will be eligible to apply after obtaining a No Objection Certificate from the competent authority.
      • But he/she will have to submit the retirement certificate to the commission before appearing in the main examination/written examination/interview conducted by the commission.
      • There is no provision for reservation in appointment for ex-servicemen from outside Rajasthan state.
      • After an ex-serviceman accepts employment in any public service under the state, he/she will lose his/her status as an ex-serviceman.
      • It is mandatory to get marriage registered.
      • A candidate having more than two children on or after June 1, 2002, will not be eligible for appointment in service.
      • A woman of the widow/divorced category will have to submit an affidavit that she has not remarried until the last date of the online application.
      • The candidate will have to submit a character certificate from the last educational institution, in which at least "good" should be mentioned in relation to the character.
      • After selection, the candidate will have to submit a police verification certificate related to conduct.
      • After selection, the candidate will have to submit a medical certificate related to medical examination issued by the competent authority.
      • Candidates who are already appointed in government service will have to submit a No Objection Certificate from their employer.

13. Incorrect/Erroneous Information in Application Form:

    • The application form of the candidate will be canceled if incorrect/erroneous information or incomplete application form is filled.
    • The eligibility of the candidate is checked by the commission through the detailed application form submitted by the provisionally selected candidates after the results of the concerned recruitment examination are released.
    • Provisional admission will be given to the recruitment examination by considering the information filled in the online application form as correct.
