Recruitment Organization: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), Ajmer, is conducting the recruitment for Senior Teacher positions for the Secondary Education Department.
Positions: This recruitment is being conducted under the Rajasthan Education (State and Subordinate) Service Rules, 2021, and the Rajasthan Scheduled Area Subordinate, Ministerial and Class IV Service Rules, 2014 for the TSP (Tribal Sub-Plan) area.

Categorization of Posts: The posts are categorized into General (Unreserved), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, and Most Backward Class. Additionally, posts are reserved for women, widows, divorcees, and ex-servicemen.
Area: The recruitment is for both the General area and the TSP area. TSP area candidates are also allowed to apply for non-TSP area posts, but they must clearly fill their preference in the online application.
Reservation:
If eligible candidates from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe are not available, the vacancies will be carried forward for the next three recruitment years.

There are also provisions for age relaxation for ex-prisoners, NCC cadet instructors, persons working in Panchayat Samiti and Zilla Parishads, and emergency commissioned officers.
Educational Qualification:
For Hindi, English, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Urdu, and Punjabi subjects: Graduation or equivalent examination with the concerned subject as an optional subject recognized by UGC, and a degree or diploma in education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education/Government.
For Science subject: Graduation or equivalent examination with at least two subjects from the following recognized by UGC: Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry, and a degree or diploma in education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education/Government.
For Social Science subject: Graduation or equivalent examination with at least two subjects from the following recognized by UGC: History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration, and Philosophy, and a degree or diploma in education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education/Government.
Knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture is also required.

One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory.
The examination fee must be paid online.

Applicants from other states will be considered as general category and will have to pay the examination fee prescribed for the general category.
Examination Scheme:
The examination will have two papers: Paper-I and Paper-II.
Paper-I: Will be of 200 marks, including geographical, historical, cultural and general knowledge of Rajasthan, current affairs of Rajasthan, general knowledge of the world and India, and educational psychology.
Paper-II: Will be of 300 marks, including knowledge of secondary and higher secondary level of the concerned subject, knowledge of graduation level, and teaching methods of the concerned subject.
It is necessary to obtain a minimum of 40% marks in each paper, with a 5% relaxation for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates.
Negative marking will be applicable in the evaluation of answers; one-third of the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Modification in Application Form:
After submitting the online application, applicants can correct some errors.
Online modification can be done during the application period and within 10 days after the last date of application by paying a fee of ₹500.
An online edit window will be opened for 10 days, 45 days before the date of the exam.
No correction will be made by the Commission after the examination is conducted.
Other Important Points:
The applicant must provide their correct mobile number and email ID, as all information will be sent through the same.
All details in the application form should be filled carefully, as further action by the Commission will be based on the same.
The provisions for relaxation in various categories are non-cumulative, i.e., the benefit of more than one relaxation will not be given.
Persons with disabilities will be given additional relaxation in addition to age relaxation.
If a candidate of the reserved category takes advantage of other concessions (such as age limit, marks) in addition to the fee, they will not be considered for general vacancies.
If a candidate becomes overage on the last date of application, they will be given an additional three years of relaxation in the maximum age limit as these posts were advertised in 2018.
The retirement age for government employees is 60 years, so the applicant's age should not be more than 60 years by the date of appointment.
Verification of documents will be done after passing the examination, and it is mandatory to submit all necessary documents.
It is mandatory to submit a marriage certificate.
Candidates having more than two children on or after June 1, 2002, will not be eligible for appointment.
A woman in the widow/divorcee category will have to submit an affidavit stating that she has not remarried by the last date of online application/modification date.
Character certificates, police verification certificates, and medical examination certificates will also have to be submitted.
Government employees will have to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.
The application will be rejected if wrong information or an incomplete application form is filled.
The applicant will be responsible for correcting any mistakes in the application form.
The decisions of the Commission will be considered final.
