2. Important Dates:
Period for online application and fee submission: From 22.03.2018 to 20.04.2018 (till midnight 12:00 AM)
Examination Date: July-August, 2018 (Tentative)
3. Application Process:
Candidates must apply online through the designated e-Mitra Kiosk/Public Facilitation Center of Rajasthan.
Before applying, candidates should read the advertisement carefully.
It is advised that candidates do not wait for the last date and complete the online application within the stipulated time.
Handwritten application forms will not be accepted in any form.
Before applying, candidates should create an email ID and remember their email and password.
Previewing the application form should not be considered as submission.
4. Important Points:
Fill in all required information correctly and completely in the online application form. Incorrect or incomplete information may result in the cancellation of the application.
No modifications will be allowed in the application form.
The application fee is non-refundable.
Admit cards will be issued online through the board’s website.
Mobile phones, wallets, etc., will not be allowed in the exam center.
Any use of unfair means during the exam will be dealt with under the Rajasthan Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 1992.
Follow the specific guidelines for photo and signature submission.
5. Reservation:
Reservation for vacancies will be as per the Rajasthan Industry Subordinate Service Rules, 1966.
Posts reserved for women, ex-servicemen, meritorious athletes, differently-abled individuals, and departmental ministerial employees will have horizontal reservation.
Departmental ministerial employees are eligible for 12.5% reservation for Industry Extension Officer and Industry Inspector posts.
Vacancies reserved for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes candidates will be carried forward for three recruitment years if no eligible candidates are available in a specific recruitment year.
30% reservation for women will be applied horizontally across categories.
6. Age Limit (as of 01 January 2019):
Minimum Age: 20 years
Maximum Age: 40 years
Age relaxation provisions exist for various categories.
7. Educational Qualifications (must be attained by the last application date):
Industry Extension Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or Engineering from a recognized university.
Industry Inspector: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or Engineering from a recognized university.
Economic Investigator: Master’s Degree in First or Second Class in Mathematics/Statistics/Economics or Commerce from a recognized university, or a Master’s Degree with a one-year diploma in statistics from a recognized institution.
Handloom Inspector: Senior Secondary or Higher Secondary or equivalent qualification, with a two-year diploma in Textile Trade from the National Council for Vocational Training or another government-recognized institution.
Salt Inspector: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry with B.Sc. from a recognized university.
For all posts, knowledge of Hindi written in the Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthan’s culture is essential.
8. Examination Fee:
General/ Creamy Layer OBC/MBC candidates: ₹450/-
Non-Creamy Layer OBC/MBC candidates of Rajasthan: ₹350/-
Specially-abled and SC/ST candidates of Rajasthan: ₹250/-

Candidates must be of sound mental and physical health.
Candidates should have good character.
Candidates must be Indian citizens or meet the prescribed eligibility criteria.
Certain disqualifications for appointment include having more than one living wife, accepting dowry, and having more than two children.
