Eligibility Test (Senior Secondary Level) - 2024: Important Information

1. Eligibility Test: This test is solely an eligibility test, meaning passing it does not guarantee a job. Candidates must also pass the main examination and interview conducted for the specific posts.

3. Score Validity: The exam score will be valid for one year from the date of the result. Candidates can appear in the exam multiple times to improve their scores.
4. Minimum Marks: Candidates must obtain a minimum of 40% marks in the CET (Senior Secondary) to be eligible for the written exam or interview. A 5% relaxation in minimum marks will be provided for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes.
5. Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification required for CET at the Senior Secondary level is Senior Secondary or its equivalent. However, for the main examination, the educational qualification and age limit will be applied separately as per departmental rules.
6. Age Limit: As of January 1, 2025, the candidate's age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years. There are provisions for age relaxation for various categories such as women, SC/ST, OBC/MBC, Economically Weaker Sections, ex-servicemen, etc.
7. Reservation: Posts are reserved for candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections, women, widows, divorced women, ex-servicemen, persons with disabilities, and outstanding sportspersons from the state of Rajasthan.
