Forest Guard & Forester Direct Recruitment 2020: Brief Advertisement Details
1. Post Details:
- Forester: Total 87 posts (73 in Non-Scheduled Area and 14 in Scheduled Area)
- Forest Guard: Total 1041 posts (886 in Non-Scheduled Area and 155 in Scheduled Area)
2. Important Dates:
- Online Application Period: From 8th December 2020 to 7th January 2021 (until 11:59 PM)
- Last Date for Exam Fee Payment: 7th January 2021 (until 11:59 PM)
3. Application Process:
- Applications will be accepted only through online mode.
- Applicants can apply through Rajasthan's e-Mitra kiosks or public service centers.
- Applicants can also apply online by creating their own SSO ID.
- The application fee can be paid through e-Mitra kiosks, debit card, credit card, or net banking.
- Handwritten applications will not be accepted.
4. Application Fees:
- General Category, Economically Weaker Section, Creamy Layer OBC/MBC: ₹450
- Non-Creamy Layer OBC/MBC from Rajasthan: ₹350
- All Specially Abled, SC/ST from Rajasthan: ₹250
- Candidates with an annual family income of less than ₹2.50 lakhs: ₹250 (Income certificate required)
5. Educational Qualifications:
- Forester: 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board
- Forest Guard: Secondary (10th) or equivalent from a recognized board
- For both positions: Knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthan's culture
6. Age Limit (as of 1st January 2021):
- Forester: 18 to 40 years
- Forest Guard: 18 to 24 years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST/OBC/MBC male (resident of Rajasthan): 5 years
- General and EWS female: 5 years
- SC/ST/OBC/MBC female (resident of Rajasthan): 10 years

8. Other Important Points:
- Reservation: Reservation of posts will be applicable for various categories (SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS/Ex-servicemen/Women/Specially Abled/Outstanding Sportsperson) as per Rajasthan Government rules.
- Physical Efficiency Test: A physical efficiency test is mandatory for both Forester and Forest Guard positions.
- Certificate Verification: Selected candidates will need to verify all original certificates (educational qualification, caste certificate, age proof, etc.).
- Prevention of Unfair Means: Strict action will be taken against candidates using unfair means during the examination.
