Basic and Senior Computer Instructor Recruitment-2022: A Brief Overview
Position Details:
- Basic Computer Instructor: Total 9862 posts (8974 in Non-Scheduled Area and 888 in Scheduled Area)
- Senior Computer Instructor: Total 295 posts (282 in Non-Scheduled Area and 13 in Scheduled Area)
Important Dates:
- Start of online application: 08 February 2022
- Last date for online application: 09 March 2022 (until 11:59 PM)
- Exam date: May/June 2022 (Tentative)
Application Process:
- Applications will only be accepted online.
- Applications can be filled through e-Mitra kiosks/Jan Suvidha Centers or via the Board's website.
- Applicants must create an SSO ID and use it along with a password to fill out the online application.
- The application fee can be paid through e-Mitra kiosks/Jan Suvidha Centers, Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card.
- After submitting the application fee, candidates should obtain a hard copy of the application form and a receipt.
Application Fee:
- General Category/Creamy layer OBC/EWS: ₹450/-
- Non-creamy layer OBC/MBC/EWS and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of Rajasthan: ₹350/-
- All Specially Abled Persons and SC/ST of Rajasthan: ₹250/-
- All categories with an annual family income of less than ₹2.50 lakhs: ₹250/-
Educational Qualifications:
(1) Senior Computer Instructor:
- Master of Engineering (M.E.) / Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Computer Science (CS) / Information Technology (IT) / Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) / Electrical Engineering (EE) / Electrical Electronics Engineering (EEE) / Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE)
- OR
- MSc in Computer Science (CS) / Information Technology (IT)
- OR
- Master in Computer Application (MCA) / 'B' Level / 'C' Level
- OR
- Any equivalent or higher qualification recognized by the government
- Practical knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
(2) Basic Computer Instructor:
- Graduate and 'A' Level / PGDCA (minimum one year)
- OR
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science (CS) / Information Technology (IT) / Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) / Electrical Engineering (EE) / Electrical Electronics Engineering (EEE) / Electronic Instrumentation and Control (EIC) / Telecommunication and Instrumentation (TIE)
- OR
- BSc in Computer Science (CS) / Information Technology (IT) / Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) from a university established by law in India.
- OR
- Any equivalent or higher qualification recognized by the government
- Practical knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
Note: Candidates in the final year of the above-mentioned educational qualifications can also apply, but they must complete their qualifications before the exam date.
Age Limit (as of 01 January 2023):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
Age Relaxation:
- Women of the General Category: 5 years
- SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS men of Rajasthan: 5 years
- SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS women of Rajasthan: 10 years
- Persons with disabilities: 5 years
- Widows and divorced women: No age limit
- Ex-servicemen: 50 years (with an additional 2-year relaxation in some cases)
